In Unreal Engine 5.6, I created a Metahuman with 4K textures, but in the Content Browser the textures appear as 2K.

So I discovered that
the normal maps are actually 8K, not even 4K.
However, the base color textures are only 2K, which seems to be the standard in Unreal.
It looks like we can simply upscale the base color for work if needed
Unfortunately this is not really a solution. It’s only an observation. Once you need to go back into MHC to update anything it will overwrite the textures again (well, I assume). Since the “Download Texture Source” offers up to 8k resolution I would expect it to do so. But it does it only for Normals
