MESSAGE: D3D11-compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shadeer Model 5.0) is required to run the engine

CPU: Intel I7 3770
RAM: 16Gb DDR3 Gskill Ripjaws 2133MHz
GPU: Nvidia Quadro FX5800
OS: Windows 10 64bit latest 21H1 updated
DirectX: latest 12 installed

After installation of UE5, when trying to run it, i get the message in the subject and the software stops.

I need to know if the GPU is not compatible (and so have to change it) or if there’s a way I can fix this Issue.

Thank you very much

To the best of my knowledge Quadro FX5800 supports shader model 5. But it’s DirectX feature level is only 10_0. You will need feature level 11_0 to work with UE

Geforce Kepler series and later should be compatible.

Here is a link to refer the feature level requirements:

Thanks for the answer. So to run UE5 with my actual PC configuration, what exact GPU model should I get avoiding wasting money and getting bottlenecks?
I use GPU mainly for CAD, Second Life, PhotoEditing (PaintShopPro 2022-Exposure-PortraitPro…)

Thank you very much again to whoever can answer
