anytime I apply an opacity mask to my mesh it disappears. Nanite has been disabled for the mesh, i attempted to use Texture Coordinates and many other things I’ve followed tutorials for… but i feel like im still missing something, the object looks perfect and beautiful in 3ds max and I exported from 3ds max as FBX with textures and also tried glb with textures, neither one pulls the png textures over like expected so im having to re-add textures and materials once in unreal but they keep “breaking” and dissappearing?

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum! That’s a bit of a new one to me as well. I’d double check your material domain and make sure the mat isn’t set to opaque or translucent or something. It should be set to ‘Masked’.
Some UVs issue? All the geometry is using part of the texture that is masked.
