This was done in UE5.0 and 5.2 the same results for both.
I used Mesh to MetaHuman to create my custom MetaHuman. When I send the character MetaHuman Creator I get a character mesh that is molded around the correct face structure, but the face does not match at all. It appears as if the face texture isn’t being used at all.
Secondly, When I try to find that MetaHuman in Quixel Bridge, I can’t the category, “My Metahumans” at all. From what I can see, my new character should be showing under that category. But I don’t see either.
I have tried:
-Uninstalling the Bridge plug-in.
-Both the desktop app and the app within UE 5.0
-I do not see an update available or even a way to update in the Launcher/Market Place.
Seems that uninstalling the entire Engine and reinstalling it has all of my metahuman characters showing up in Bridge now. Not sure why. I also did not reinstall Quixel Bridge, I noticed that it installed automatically with the reinstallation of the engine. Maybe letting it work on it’s own provided me with the latest version needed to get everything working.
Additionally, MAKE SURE YOU’RE LOGGED IN !!!
Unfortunately the login process has a problem of it’s own that may need to be addressed.
I had to login to bridge every time I opened the engine. I worked in 5.2. finished and close it out. Reopened a new project in 5.2, and needed to login to Bridge again for things to work.
My issue is, as you can see in the screen shot.
(Left = monitor 1 inside bridge, Right = monitor 2 login screen)
My email is showing and the profile indicates that I can logout. This suggests I’m already logged in. Apparently I am not logged in, when I click the account button I am prompted to login again.
After the reinstall, my metahumans show up, as long as I make sure I’m actually logged in, and I can see my account when I hit the account button.
