Mesh Painting Imported Geometry


Hello everyone,

I’m new to UE5. I am attempting to use mesh painting, but after a long while I have realized that my model imported from Rhino 7 does not have the necessary vertices to use the function adequately. How do I resolve this issue? Can I increase the subdivisions on imported geometries? Also the second image shows one material placed on multiple surfaces, but why did the material change direction ?

Save UV map and use Datasmith Exporter for Rhino plugin

Do you mean to setup and save the UV Map in Rhino ? I would imagine that would probably resolve UV direction issue.
