I am new to unreal engine, and when I am trying to paint the brush is not working and shows a different brush than I see in guide videos can someone help me get the paint brush back, I have also attached the kind of brush I need to able to use it.
You need a plane with a lot of geometry. The default plane only has to triangles, you need more like 2000

Make a plane in the geometry tool ( SHIFT5 ) with these params
( normal plane on the left ).
See what that does…
It has to have a material on it, and you have to code the material for this process. Time to watch some more tutorials, I think 
I know what you are trying to say, and I have watched the video and followed many tutorial about materials but the only problem I am facing is brush problem…its different.
I cannot paint, I watched some thing like 10 tutorials, but cannot find the solution. I tried blend materials, Modeling mode, different layers and none of them worked.
