I have attached rollerblades to my Character foot sockets. They follow the feet as i want them to but the problem is that the bottom half of the rollerblades (the wheels and frame) clip through the floor). So I tried increasing the capsule size and moving my character a bit up, but it seems no matter what size i set the capsule the character always snaps to the floor. How can i move my mesh up so the wheels align with the floor?
Hey @AlexandrosGeo! Welcome to the forums!
The solution to this SHOULD be to raise the mesh’s position up relative to the capsule collider.
Try moving the mesh up quite a bit, like halfway up the capsule. You should float way, way off the ground. If that isn’t happening, you’re not doing what you think you’re doing! Then we need to figure that out. But if you DO float way up, you now just need to adjust it to the perfect height. This is just part of animation, unfortunately. You gotta line it up!
Hope that helps! If you try this and it doesn’t do what’s expected, come back with a more detailed description of what you’re doing, step-by-step, pictures of your hierarchy, details window, and viewport would be great as well!
