I have created a mesh in Maya and for some reason materials in Unreal are darker on this mesh than it is on on other meshes or boxes. I’ve attached two pictures of the mesh and a basic box that in both pictures share the same material but the mesh is clearly darker in both cases.
I have no idea what it can be as the normals should be correct and I also tried setting the light source index in Unreal to various values which changes nothing visually.
Thanks for your answer! Rebuilding the light sadly doesn’t solve the problem.
A little update to the issue however is that I have noticed that everything I export from Maya gets this error in Unreal.
