Can someone explain how the Import Translation/Rotation/Scale is supposed to work in the mesh editor? Ie, its not working for me.
I’ve imported a free mesh I found on the internet, but of course, the orientation is all wrong. Its rotated wrong and in particular, its not centered. So when I place it at origin (0,0,0), its actual location is far off.
I thought the Import Translation and Rotate found under Details->Transform would correct my mesh orientation issues, but it appears to do nothing. There is no effect on the mesh that appears in the mesh editor viewport and no effect on the level editor viewport.
So what am I doing wrong?
