Mesh deforms on Samsung Gear VR

I have a 3d model of a building imported into Unreal, it looks and works fine on my pc. Then I build it for Samsung VR (Android 6.0.1 on Samsung S7). However when I run it on the Gear VR Headset, the 3d mesh of the building is completely deformed, the only thing intact is the outline of the building.

I am well below the maximum 65.000 vertices, any ideas what causes the deforming?
