Hi everyone,
I’m working on a game with a small team of two. I handle level design, environment, and cutscenes, while my friend works on game mechanics and UI (since his laptop isn’t very powerful).
Right now, I’m using a MetaHuman character as the default player and creating cutscenes with face and body animations in Sequencer. My cutscenes are triggered using trigger points.
My question is: If I create all my cutscenes with animations on my laptop using my own game mode, will I be able to later integrate my friend’s game mode (the actual game mode for the game) into the MetaHuman character without breaking the existing cutscenes, face, and body animations?
I want to ensure a smooth transition between cutscenes and gameplay while keeping everything functional. Any advice on best practices for merging game modes without affecting Sequencer animations would be greatly appreciated!
