Merging cubes into a new shape and stretching an image over it

Hello!
I’m fairly new to building in UE and i’m trying to build a Led wall and my thought was to build a custom shape using cubes, then merge the actors into one new asset. Then put a material over it containing a picture which would then strech over the new shape.

The problem is that the image just seems to repeat itself wherever the cubes were built before the merge. Am I missing some kind of checkbox or am I tackling this problem the wrong way?


You can eiter rewrite the UVs using the modelling tools, box project would work.

Or, you can use a world aligned material, that doesn’t care about UVs
