Hello,
I started to create a new game. It is a a simple 3D Platformer, which lives from not seeing all of the level.
The story is, that you are within your mind and have to puzzle until you wake up.
To get a impression what I mean, I made a little game-play video. I want to add more gameplaymechanics, like short increasing of the view distance and edge climbing.

Awesome idea, trippy concept, seems like something id play for sure, reminded me slightly of portal for some reason, which was brilliant. id like to see more of it for sure.

Porting to Linux as development platform
Hey there. After some time I got the Unreal engine working correctly at my Mint 17.2, so I decided to develop manly on Linux to test how good it works.
Surprisingly it works really good.
Here is a screenshot of a new level I am working on right now.
Update: Level 2 is “Finished”
Here we go: I finished the second level of the game. I also implemented a checkpoint-system.
Checkpoints: You can place a checkpoint everywhere you want by hitting Left-Click, as long as you are not flying or in the timeout of placing checkpoints (4 sec. for now)
I plan to make a second ability to see the level in whole for a short time… .

View boost and respawn
I “finished” the respawn system, which is easy configurable now, as well as a view booster.
You can use the viewbooster once in a while.
I also started a new level which is blending between the old and a new “poly” theme.
