Hi can anyone tell me if c++ memory management can be used along with engine ? Can I still overload operators, use dynamic arrays ? And mostly can I still use my custom data structures ?
UE4 provided types that I assume use there own allocator, So no problem there.
I don’t see any problem overloading operators.
You should be able to use your custom data structures, But you would have to make some changes if you want to expose them to BluePrints.
Sounds mint I have a lot stuff from my uni portfolio including memory management system, memory pools etc. good to know all of this won’t be wasted
