This 3D model captures a hollow, winter-weathered tree stump photographed near Gröndal in Stockholm on November 22, 2025. The scan was produced using the mobile version of RealityScan, based on 300 photographs taken under cloudy daylight with early winter snow covering the ground. The stump shows advanced internal decay, exposing vertical grain textures and forming a naturally sculpted cavity. Around the base, compacted snow, fallen oak leaves, and small stones contribute to a layered woodland surface.
The model preserves fine details of the bark fibers, the fractured rim, and subtle variations caused by moisture, moss, and frost. It can be used for winter forest environments, nature studies, or realistic organic assets. This scan was created for my personal documentation of natural forms and as part of my ongoing training in 3D learning.
