Hi does anyone know why I am getting pitch black shadows on megascan materials from Quixel? Is there a way of fixing it?
I don’t think this has anything to do with the texture/materials, but the lighting in the map. It looks like you only have a directional light, so any side of the mesh that isn’t directly in sight of that light has on light at all.
Yeah I do, but no matter where I move it the shadow is totally dark only on Megascan materials, I change the material to starter content materials and the shadows appear how they should.
Maybe this is the answer?
