As the title suggests, I’m wondering if there might be a way to use a Render Target 2D in an Area Light instead of a Video Texture?
I’m trying to have a live NDI feed playback on a virtual screen with the same nice glow effects that you can get with Megalights by using a video texture fed into an Area Light.
When I try to do it, the Render Target 2D doesn’t update in realtime, but stays frozen on a single frame. The frame updates whenever I change a parameter in the Area Light, so I wonder if there might be a way to send a tick to the area light to have it constantly update the frame?
Maybe someone has experience with this?
