I have a question regarding the Epic Mega Grants. This year, on January 19th, when the Grant website came back up, I submitted a grant application on behalf of my company and project. I understand that there must be a high volume of applications and I appreciate that the team is trying to send an email to every applicant, especially within a time period of 90 days.
Unfortunately, it has been 136 days so far without a response of any kind. I had sent an email to the Mega Grants email, as well as researched on the internet regarding similar cases. No luck.
At this point, I am at a loss of what to do, so I’m writing on the forum in hopes of some guidance or help.
What I’m trying to understand is, if my application is still in the cue and the team just hasn’t gotten around to it yet, or if the application got lost among all the other applications flooding in.
We would love to hear back regarding our project application and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve sent an application close to 3 months ago as well, and haven’t received a response either. What’s really worrisome that they don’t send you any confirmation mail after applying, at least to just let you know that your application has been received.
Epic’s websites are notoriously buggy, so it’s easy to image sometimes something on the backend just fails silently, and then you keep waiting your 3 months, just to realize that they didn’t even receive your application in the first place
We have contacted the Epic MegaGrants team, who have informed us that they aim to respond to existing applications in the queue by the end of this month. Thank you for your continued patience, and good luck!
Hi @Rawalanche, I assume this means you have yet to hear anything. I’m following up with the team to find out if they have been able to reach everyone yet.
It’s not uncommon for processing times to be longer than advertised, but it’s also possible that your application is still pending. It’s best to follow up politely and verify that all information is up to date, and to be patient as the Epic Games team works through a large volume of applications.
