Medieval Street

Hello everyone, My name is Hossein Mohaghegh and this is a personal project that I’ve been working on in my free time. I chose Vladimir Manyukhin concept because I liked the mood and colors and it makes me exciting to transfer it to the 3d world. thanks to my mentor Ehsan Ebrahimzadeh and my friend Mersad Fazeli for amazing feedback. check more detail at my Artstation if you liked this .

Greetings @Mohaghegh1 !

I see this is your first time posting in our forums! Welcome to the Unreal Engine community! :medal_sports:

Thank you for including your inspiration! I took a look at Vladimir Manyukhin’s amazing Art Station, and I can see the inspired nuances of his work in yours.

You’ve made this project your very own, as your sky makes your scene a bit more colorful and less morose. Upon first glance, I immediately thought, “Winter is Coming” (Game of Thrones reference).

I really enjoyed the fluidity of your camera shots and the way the lone flag waved in the wind amongst the rooftop. The angle at which the light from the sun is illuminating the stone above, while the shadows begin reaching up from the bottom serves as a reminder that light is fading, and it’s time (the clock in the square) to start coming inside for warmth against the coming cold night. The textures you have chosen are perfect for the period in which your inspiration comes.

Although this particular project is a personal one for you, in which ways did both mentor Ehsan and friend Mersad encourage your work?
