Media Plates playback fine in Engine but stutter when rendered

I have built a sequence in UE5.4.4 with 6 media plates, playing back MP4s. When I am in engine they playback fine, but when I render they play about 10 frames then jump back in a loop. I have tried lots of things, read lots of forums but can’t find a solution.

If you are running MRQ with multiple samples its gonna tick that movie each sample. You’re better off making exrs or something and loading those.

This should be better in 5.6 as they’ve worked on frame-accurate media playback quite a bit and should be the same frame for subsamples.
