From After Effects I rendered a 6K PNG sequence with roughly 4000 frames. I imported that sequence into my media plate in UE5 correctly.
My UE5 scene consists of a demo enviornment and a animated camera moving around 3 media plates throughout the scene, all 3 plates include the same rendered PNG sequence.
When I render the video from UE5 the media plates appears to be playing at a slightly slowed down rate as if the speed was scaled down from 100% to 95%. The camera animation and evniornment are playing at the correct speed.
For render settings I used Apple Pro Res 422. I have tried changing the sequencer FPS from 24 to 30. I’ve also tried chainging the output frame rate from 24 and 30 with no luck.
The PNG sequence was originally a BRAW clip shot at 30FPS. It is a man in front of a green screen, keyed out and exported as a PNG from After Effects. Oddly enough when I render the composition in UE5 the media plate plays smooth and not choppy.
How do I get my media plates to play at the correct speed?
