Afro Freeform Locs – Metahuman Groom Asset from BigHair
A bespoke, faded Afro-loc hairstyle, built to the current MetaHuman specification.
This asset uses an optimised strand setup alongside card-based LODs (0–4) and helmet mesh LODs (5–7) to ensure scalability across platforms.
The groom includes full strand attributes - Width, RootUV, Guides, Per-CV Color and AO - enabling material effects like Ombre and Highlights to function as expected inside MetaHuman Creator.
All BigHair grooms are authored on a MetaHuman-compatible head mesh, with Wardrobe Asset and Metahuman-compatible materials - enabling you to scale, and integrate seamlessly into existing pipelines.
This asset is ready for cinematic and real-time use, targeting the same specification of existing Metahuman grooms.
