MD-DL-200 Unreal Engine Install Failure Mac

Hi, I’m trying to install Unreal Engine 5.5 on my M2 MacBook Pro, but the install keeps failing at 100% with error code MD-DL-200.

I already:

  • installed Xcode + Command Line Tools
  • accepted the Xcode license
  • cleared Epic Launcher cache
  • reinstalled the launcher
  • verified I have enough storage

The download finishes, but the final installation/verification always fails.

Has anyone found a fix for this on macOS / Apple Silicon? I really need it to pass a course :folded_hands:

Are you using VPN or any network DNS sort? , if not, try again installing from the start with VPN Strong tunnel ( OpenVPN ) protocol etc.
