maya to unreal


Sorry if this is covered already, I have not been able to find the exact topic I have been looking for.
I have been using maya for about 15 yrs and am currently trying to find a good way to send stuff to UE4 (im a newbie)

One time exporting from maya to UE4 has been fine using the FBX method.

What I am wondering is, what is the best way to keep working on the same scene in maya, adding, tweaking, changing objects,
then re-exporting as FBX into UE4, but keeping all the work thats been done in UE4 without it being a fresh import.

I have been playing with re-import in UE4 but that only seems to update the existing geo in the fbx and not add the newly created objects
