Maya Grid Orientation

Hi, I am making a sidescroller and would like to have my Maya grid match the orientation of UE4 sidescroller (i.e. x = depth, y = left,right, z = up)

In my Maya the grid and therefore the way rotating the camera works is on the x-z plane and i’d like it to be the X-Y plane, I have dug through the preferences but cannot find a way to change it (or the world orientation or w/e you want to call it)
