Sorry for the repetition.

This feature fails, when the scanner is offline at the moment the activation period expires, of course. And it fails, too, if the user currently logged in has no administrator’s rights to renew the activation granted to all users, because the registry entry can not update without.

I’m looking for a way to get over this.
