I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to preview what’s actually happening in the game from blueprints in the actual matinee viewer itself. As an example, I have multiple NPCs moving from waypoint to waypoint via a navmesh in my level blueprints, but I’d like to be able to see where they actually are while I set up my cameras in matinee to properly record and frame them cinematically. Currently it seems like it only works in matinee’s preview if the animation sequences are being played directly via matinee and not the actual runtime-game itself.
Is it possible to be able to preview their movements in matinee according to the timeframe so I can key everything correctly without having to constantly exit matinee to actually see the final result, and then back to adjust the keyframes? Something tells me it’s probably impossible currently but I figured it’d be worth a shot.
