Hi, I am trying to render Buffer Visualisation with a camera in Matinee. However, there doesn’t seem to be a console command that I can put in the level blueprint for the different Buffer Visualisations.
*Recording with Fraps isn’t an option since I need to record different passes with exactly the same frames.
Basically, I need a console command for, let’s say ambient occlusion or a way to render it with matinee. Thanks
I’ll second this, being able to output the render buffers for post process and compositing would be fantastic, even though I am monumentally impressed with the in engine implementation, I’m looking at it as a possible tool for rendering vex for live action composites, as I truly believe the engine can push that kind of quality!
You may want to look into post-process materials for rendering buffers. It’s not perfect though, but it’s a good start.
Some missing shadows missing in the detailed lighting seem to be absent from the other passes though. Maybe the answer lies in the world normal buffer pass.
Create a post-process material and apply the render pass you want to it, then in a post-process volume go down to the blendables and select the newly created material. Activating/disabling by blueprints is possible after (by modifying the active post-process volumes)
