Hey Guys,
I’m starting to add some cutszenes into my lvl and now I’m asking whether it would be good to load a new level for each cutszene or is this unneccessary?
(We are talking about cutszenes longer than 2 minutes)
Some advantages I thought about are:
- Effects and other things that are only used in the cutszene are only loaded in this
- It is easier to control/organize (level load –> start the cutszene ; cutszene finished –> back to normal lvl)
- If something in the cutszene breaks the lvl is not broken
But what do u think?
Is it easier and more efficient to load a new lvl for a cutszene or not?
