Materials with alphamaps are blurred

Hi Guys,
i created grass and leaf materials and they are blurred. Do you know what i’m doing wrong? My graphic-seetings are epic. In the following pictures i show u my material settings and how the look like.

What happens when you change the mip map settings from your texture to “no mip maps”? :slight_smile: -> it could be that the texture streaming is causing this

Where i can find the setting?

EDIT: MipValueMode ist NONE

EDIT2: I changed Mip Gen Settings to “NoMipmaps” … now it looks nice.

but what happens with the performance if i add more then 1000 trees to my map and every tree got no mipmaps?

We just did this as a test -> you should always use mip maps, so that you get a good performance. I would recommend you to change the texture streaming distance ->

"I found out you can adjust the distance of the texture streaming using the “Streaming Distance Multiplier” setting in the mesh window. Since I create my models in meters and have to set the build scale up to 100, I figured I need to set the Streaming Distance Multiplier to 1000 to get it look right. I hope this helps!
