What’s causing this? Is it necessary to create a whole new material to fix this?
You have to uv map your model in your 3d program. Take a look at some uv mapping tutorials ![]()

I’ve been looking at LOTs of mapping tutorials.
That mesh is mapped. You can’t really see it in that picture, but the lower part of the mesh is taller than it is wide. (Not at home right now, or I would show you a snapshot of the UV map.) On my UV map, all of those faces are showing up as tall rectangles.
P.S. I realize I keep posting to the wrong forum section. I’ll try to do better in the future.
