Material problems on Mobile Player & Device UE4

Hello, I have some interesting effect happening with material I apply to a large mesh when rendered on iOS (iPhone 6).


The mesh that I am trying to texture info:


There are no material problems when running the same project on desktop (Mac).


The same issue appears in the mobile renderer when previewed on my dev machine…

The texture is one JPG file, 2048 × 2048 - 2.2 MB

After doing some more reading and playing around with the UE4 Landscape tool, I’ve come to believe this issue is due simply to having a huge mesh object that can’t be properly rendered on mobile devices.
