Material Preview in UE 5.4.1 is black for the glass material

Second Screenshot the material applied seems to work normally


I have this same problem - and it seems many of us do, judging by the number of threads on this topic. Did you or anyone else ever find a resolution for this?

I’m using raytracing, all of my project settings for raytracing are on, it’s enabled in my PPV, etc.

Why does the glass material preview not work properly? It appears to not be able to show any reflections.

Using an RTX-4090, i14900K - not a hardware issue.
