Hello,
I made a model in blender and apllied effect cavity:

Which highlights the edges, darkens the faces in the middle, lightens at the edges and makes my model look a lot better:
With cavity
Without cavity
I would like to know how to achieve this effect in UE4, perhaps there is a tutorial you know and can recommend?
I think you can get there by messing around with the roughness, metalic and specular.
Were you able to find any solution?
You need to make a mask which you use to change the albedo and roughness. The mask highlights the edges. There is no default edge highlight in UE.

Not a quick and easy way
Thank you for the tip!

There’s a Blender plugin that makes the maps automatically. But you still have to export them and manually wire up the material in the engine.
Unfortunatly not. But I found a different way to highlight the edges of a mesh. Outline material. Not exactly the same effect, but it works for my current project.
