I notice when making a material function with multiple outputs, the thumbnail sphere will render the first output encountered in the node chain. I saw this “Tangent Output” node and could not find any information on what it is for? I was originally thinking it might be what I am supposed to use for secondary output nodes and only have one Function Output node? I have gotten errors in some materials where it tells me I can only have one output (Although I think that might have been a Material Layer Function and not a straight up Material Function?).
