Material Fatal error Mac Xcode 9.2

I’m having the problem mac OS Mojave 10.14.2 Version 10.1 (10B61). I adjusted the settings as suggested, but now UE editor can’t open up my project. It just keeps getting stuck at 35% and crashing. I don’t know if it matters, but I had followed the instructions on this post Unreal Engine inaccurately reports "XCode is too old" when CommandLineTools installed - Platform & Builds - Unreal Engine Forums - is that related to the problem I am having now? Any suggestions?
