Hello,
I would like to report a recurring matchmaking issue currently affecting Fortnite Creative modes. Since the release of update 39.00, there appear to be significant problems with how servers are created and populated in both Creative 1.0 and UEFN maps.
In practice, when multiple players attempt to join the same map, the matchmaking system frequently creates many separate servers instead of grouping players together. For example, around twenty players may start matchmaking for the same map, but they end up being distributed across many different servers.
As a result, several servers end up with only one or two players, and in many cases players are completely alone in their session. Occasionally, one server eventually stabilizes and gathers most of the players. However, after some time (sometimes close to an hour), the issue occurs again and the matchmaking system starts creating many new servers with only one player in each.
This behavior makes it very difficult for players to find populated sessions and negatively impacts the experience on Creative maps.
Could you please confirm whether your team is aware of this issue and currently working on a fix? Additionally, if there are any recommended steps or temporary solutions to mitigate this problem, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
