“Master” blueprint to copy

I been looking for documentation on best practice for how to use blueprints when copying the blueprint.

I made a blueprint to use for all my doors, I copy the blueprint insert the mesh and place in level.

I’m Considering if this is the best practice? I’m doing slight tweaks on some of the blueprints but for the basic doors that are all the same I’m wondering if there is a “magic” just do like this practice?

Sounds like what you want to do is create a new blueprint whose “parent” is your blueprint you use for all your doors. So instead of copying your “all-doors” blueprint, you choose it as the parent when you create a new one.

Then you can do the same thing with that new one that you’re doing with your copies: assign the mesh and place in a level.

Works perfectly!
