I decided to take advantage of the credit and purchase some new items from the marketplace. It shows they are purchased however when I go to download them they initialize but stop. I double checked my firewall and anti-virus to make sure they weren’t being blocked and my internet is operating fine. I also checked the unreal folder in my docs to make sure they weren’t somehow misplaced which they weren’t. Anyone else having issues with getting things downloaded from the market?
Same problem going on here. Can’t download anything from the market place. It will try to start then die and remove from the download que.
I completely rebooted my computer and tried again. time they seem to be working. Maybe it was just a hiccup or the fact that so many people are taking advantage of the gift at once. Either way, it seems to have sorted itself out, at least on my end. Just one of those mysteries of nature we will never fully understand.
may be related to all of the internet traffic flooding unrealengine.com at the moment. I will forward the info on to Epic so they can investigate, but it is likely due to the website being overloaded. Thank you! 
EDIT: Looks like is the, but the launcher team is investigating it now just in case.
Is why I can’t even connect with the launcher anymore right now (traffic issues)?

Makes sense. With the engine going free and the added bonus of refunds and credits, there are so many people now trying to get in on that excellent bonus. Not to mention the fact that there are are probably hundreds if not more flocking to the engine today.
First post - I’m one of the many taking advantage of awesome offer and flooding the servers! I’ve added the engine to the library but the download fails after a few seconds. I figured it was due to traffic but figured I’d check here to confirm. Looks like I’m trying again tomorrow!
