Paste n´Play (PNP)

Greetings…

I am new to the UE4 and dont have much time to dedicate myself in doing a full game by my own, soo…

It be nice if the folks that do stuff for the Marketplace do them in a way that can be just Paste n´Play (PNP) in a way that works without having time in setting it up to get it to work!!! I know somethings have to be manually after installing it but in most casses it can come alredy by the creative persons that do stuff for Marketplace, and that be a less time consuming and normal to be better welldone!..

I Agre with “Consultant”, besides that, what about some futuristic sci-fi prototype “Cars, ships, spaceships, starships, aeroplaines, submarines, bikes, submetro, trains, hovercraft, other craft, etc…” :smiley:

I would like to see more water particles. Bullet hits, explosions, swimming, coastal waves and wakes, boat movements and wakes, under water movement, and similar .

All Marketplace Contents should be automatically updated regardless what version of “UE4” in question. It’s really annoying after purchase, user must install a working UE4 version to move forward or have to go through other hoops?. EPIC is way too Professional to allow to go on. Each assets contributors especially for sale, must follow the rules initially set by EPIC to “Update” your stuff to be compatible with new UE4 or have it removed. I am not sure if somebody mentioned about in the past but …:slight_smile:

I will like to see new things as far as “UE4 Default Template”; a more in-depth, more options beyond the templates limitations. Many individuals are stocked for the lack of knowhow to finish their projects thus required them to look for some big-time programmer(s); the end result is “Dead Projects”!, for the lack of a better term. Many none-programmer users have great game ideas and cannot afford a “Team” (these days many Team want to get paid right away) :cool:; a customized Template from EPIC or any Programmers out there that can guide any UE4 user from start to finish of a Project will be nice. These customized Template(s) not only guide the user but inspire them to build complex project in question on so many levels.:cool:

EPIC or any Programmer(s) out there should put together the “VEHICLE KIT” or “ANY MOVING or FLYING TRANSPORTATION KIT”. Specifically design to work in UE4 (any previous versions to the latest). The idea of constant struggling with vehicle system need to be resolved and put away. As long as a vehicle is modeled with all the required components in place: Body, wheels(4,6,12…etc). HELICOPTERS,AIRPLANES,CARS, TRAINS should be addressed as well with set guide lines for any user to follow. YES!, I will keep on dreaming to see all these tools in UE4. :cool:

I think a lot of developers are hesitant to do more character packs because the amount of time they take to create (high quality) makes it a very risky endeavor.

Well, Not only :slight_smile: Also because it is the most “dificult” job in the 3D industry, these guys have the ‘top notch skillz’ in the 3D industry … they don’t really care about the market place, they earn enough money with their job and like you said, thay don’t really have any time…:slight_smile:

Hey Macoll! I’m actually looking into the possibility of doing character work for the marketplace sometime next year. I have a few more projects to wrap up first, but my hope is to bring some high quality characters to the marketplace. Nothing set in stone yet, but it’s something I’ve really been wanting to do. =)

Im am now a Marketplace seller. Just bought a Maya license and you all will get a new enviroment asset in the marketplace soon. :3 i hope…

Yes, it would initially be sci fi themed. =)

As a fighting game enthusiast, how about a basic framework for making a fighting game? Something that can handle things like Health, Special meter, Arcade/Story mode etc.

Spell casting animations. Like a lot of them, including casting with prop (staff).

Character with long coat and/or robe with cloth simulation on it.

First person hands with sword / shield animations.

Great suggestion, we are first going to be releasing bow and crossbow animations but after that swords will certainly follow

Like to see UT99 models ported to UT4 like the abbey models and others
