My maps aren’t updating from uefn changes
Hello,
Is this in the context of Live Edit, Push Changes, or Publishing an update to a map?
Live edit im guessing. what i have in uefn isnt what i play in fortnite “live”. also when i push changes something always breaks and my devices dont work.
Hm, I sometimes wonder about the limitations of live edit - but when you do a ‘push changes’ everything should be refreshed. To help people understand the problem you’re seeing it might be helpful to provide steps that they can follow to (hopefully) see what you’re seeing. - For example: “Start a live edit session and drag in this specific asset” or “Set up a device like this and then push changes”
they said i have to re release maps and my devices are bugged what do i do about that. items dont spawn. storm doesnt generate right and everything is config right
Try to isolate the problem. Create a new level in your project and try spawning an item and generating a storm. This will help determine if there is a bug in one of those systems or not.
I’m unsure who ‘they’ are - but re-releasing (I’m talking about publishing a new live version of your island) is much lower on the troubleshooting list. Seeing problems in published maps vs “unpublished/session based” is not unheard of, but generally they can be manifested by just creating a new private version. (no need to re-release/publish)
Ive already did new map thats how ik they are config correctly its not working.
Could you take a screenshot of inside the “GameFeatureData” and also the name of the level you created and want to load in
