Map’s Design and Branding Being Imitated by Another Creator

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to bring up something that’s been really frustrating lately. Another creator has published a map that looks almost exactly like mine in terms of level design and UI. My map is called FORTSHOP PROP HUNT :shopping_cart: (code: 5159-2109-9570), and the other one is LIDL PROP HUNT :shopping_cart: SUPERMARKET FORTSHOP (code: 6509-7112-1260).

The similarities are hard to ignore. The layout of the map and the UI are practically the same, and even the thumbnail style is very similar. While I understand that ideas can inspire others, this feels like a step too far, it’s not just inspiration, it’s full-on replication of nearly every aspect of my map.

What’s also concerning is that the map title includes the word “Fortshop”, which seems like a move to boost discoverability by taking advantage of the visibility my project has already gained.

I’ve noticed that every time I make updates to my map, the same or very similar changes show up in theirs shortly afterward. I won’t go into every detail here, but I can provide comparisons to show what’s been happening.

I’ve reported the issue many times, but so far, nothing has changed. I’m sharing this here in the hope that it gets more visibility and that something can be done to support creators dealing with this kind of thing. It’s discouraging to see original work being copied so closely without any real consequences.

From my seat ive seen so many things and tbh i think this wont be actioned.

Although i agree its a dirty tactic they have created a map and although the layout might be the same/similar its still there map.

For example

People have created 1:1 copied of most red vs blue the pits ect ect and nothing is done

The system is failing and this type of behavior is what’s causing it. You created a nice map and put effort in then someone comes and copies it and what’s to say there version wont exceed your current one - ccu like something needs to change in this system its turning into the wild west and a dirty space imo
