The flip side problem of everyone complaining about certain Fortnite UEFN maps getting through is now the moderator team more recently, for me at least, has been randomly flagging builds of mine where problems aren’t there.
From flagging a screenshot of my lobby image saying it wasn’t from my game, when it was. To most recently (today) I only changed my description to mention that my game had 15 minigames, and that was flagged with a [1.13 Keep It Authentic] rule break. This game has had 8 builds accepted, never a rejection, and then the most minor tweak gets flagged.
It makes me feel like the mod team is simply trying to hit quotas and then I on the other side of the screen get this intense message threatening my entire account over the most simple update to my game, “you may be subject to additional enforcement actions, including having your monetization and publishing privileges suspended or permanently revoked.”.
It also doesn’t help that when my builds fail, no detailed reason is still shared. The screenshots, in the rare occasion I do receive them, haven’t been helpful and are still vague with me having to scratch my head at what the issue is.
I also feel like there’s this potential fear maybe internally to share the actual reason, because then creators can debate the reason. But the flip side is now we are guessing, and it’s wasting both mine and Epic employee’s time. I’m having to resubmit a build that someone will have to review again, with a good possibility of it failing b/c I was never given the original reason for the rejection, so both me and Epic are just in this vicious cycle. Not to mention with each failed build, I’m wondering is Epic just going to ban me for no reason as I’ve seen other creators also dealing with those issues. I really hope this process gets cleaned up and let me know if I can be helpful anywhere here. Understand we are only a year into UEFN so I’m excited to see this part of the process improve.
