If you set the retargeting options in the “upperarm_twist_01_l” bone from the ue4 mannequin skeleton to anything but “skeleton”, the left shoulder will separate from the body on every animation.
I don’t know if this is a problem with the skeleton, the animations or the unreal mannequin mesh, but it’s very easy to replicate:
1.- Create a new project using third person template.
2.- Open the unreal mannequin skeleton, → show retarget options
3.- Set the “upperarm_twist_01_l” translation retargeting to anything but “skeleton”.
4.- Play any animation.
