Making Super Meat Boy esque level transitions

So am trying to setup nice looking level transitions in my game. The end result I hope to get is something similar to super meat boy. If you don’t know what that looks like here is a video Super Meat Boy - Part 1 - Entering the Forest - YouTube So am just not really sure where to start any suggestions?

The black star that comes across the screen will be a widget, ie part of the UMG.

As far as unload the previous level and loading the next one goes, if you game is as simplistic as Super Meat Boy, you’ll just be able to use ‘open level’ while the screen is obscured. If it’s more complicated, you’ll need to use level streaming.

alright open seems to work pretty good and making a UMG widget now thanks for the help
