I’m currently working with LiDAR point LAZ files in UE5, I’m looking for a way to make them fade into view and fadeout again depending on how close you are to them. The only problem is the point clouds aren’t a material so I’m struggling to find any relevant tutorials, I want to keep the original lidar colours from the scans. Is there any way to make point cloud objects fade in and out of viewing relevant to distance? I’m fairly new to UE5 so appreciate any tips and advice!
