Making grass automatically on a static mesh?

Hi every one!

I’m trying to make a huge map for my master project on this point, I would love to add some grass to it. It is not essential thought, but I think it would be a nice little toutch.

For this project, I used imported geometries to generate my world. Some people told me it was not optimal (considering that Unreal have the terrain tool), but on the conceptual aspect of my project, it was not a possibility. I won’t ellaborate on this but I did check before to choose the imported geometries. To make it short, my project is more about the conception than the realisation itself and the terrain tools was not able to recreate the shape of the environment I created.

Considering my mesh has textures (that I use to mix the materials), I was wondering if there was a way to use those textures to populate automatically my geometries with grass.

I don’t know if I’m clear enought… Keep in mind that English is not my first language! Lol!

If you have an idea, I would really appreciate.
