Making basic map (tutorial old?)

Hi, so I’ve followed this tutorial video: - YouTube

Some of it is clearly old now and things need to be done slightly different. But anyway, I followed it all the way through, uploaded the mod, then went in to ARK, selected that mod, but when it loads the game it doesn’t do what it did in this video, i.e. loads the gray map, it actually loads the ARK map. Why is this? I did exactly what this video told me to do.

Thanks, but not sure you get my problem here. If I followed the video that I linked to then loading up the game using the mod i created should generate a blank area, not the default map. Or am I wrong about this?
