Making an Idle / Clicker game to get back into it after a few years

Hi All

I want to make a simple IDLE game for HTML and Mobile for people to waist there away on.

It is not multiplayer other then the Leader board. If I have it so when I load the page it runs and saves for me, if someone else jumps on the page, do they see what I am seeing or does it start a new game for them?

Never played with online before.

I would think it would load a separate instance for the other player. Depends on how you write it.
