I have an idea for a video game but I have no clue where to go with the idea, I do not know anything about creating a video game. I’m trying to read things but it’s a foreign language to me. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there @lil_dune_buggy! Welcome to the community! Game development is daunting at first, but with some dedication anyone can make games! I’d start as simple as you can, and work on practicing each of those skills with smaller projects until you can start chipping away at systems for the game you really want to make.
I’d like to suggest a decent starting resource, which is a learning path that actually also contains the course Vis mentioned as well.
you need to get used to the process of building games before you can build out that game youre thinking about. id recommend following a youtube video or get a course for cheap on humble bundle
